About me
Hi, I’m Evardi – fitness lover, fusion foodie, and the voice (and appetite) behind Evardi Recipes.
Born in Brooklyn to an Italian-Lebanese family, I grew up where za’atar and parmesan lived side by side, where hummus met rigatoni, and where food was always shared & never measured. Today, I’m a husband, dad, and self-taught fitness chef on a mission to make high-protein meals feel like a reward, not a chore.
This blog is for anyone who’s ever looked at a bland “bro meal” and thought, “There has to be a better way.” Spoiler: there is.
From post-workout power bowls to protein-packed banana bread, everything here is tested in my kitchen, with my wife Amira behind the camera, our daughter Sofia sneaking bites, and Barley (our golden retriever) always hoping something falls off the counter.
Whether you’re lifting weights, chasing toddlers, or just trying to eat like you care about your body (without giving up flavor), you’re in the right place.
Let’s keep it simple, satisfying, and full of global flavor.
More About Me & The Evardi Recipes Journey
I didn’t set out to start a recipe blog. Honestly, I just wanted to stop eating dry chicken.
Back in my early gym days, I was burning out on bland “clean meals.” Meal prep felt more like punishment than progress. The more I lifted, the more I craved meals that matched my goals and my taste buds.
So I grabbed my Nonna’s apron, cracked open my old spice stash, and started experimenting. Could I blend family flavors with fitness goals? Could protein meals be as comforting as my mom’s lentil stew or as fun as street food in Beirut?
Turns out – yes.
Evardi Recipes was born from that idea: that your food can be strong, soulful, and seriously delicious. You don’t need expensive powders, endless ingredients, or a second fridge. Just real food, smart steps, and recipes that don’t take over your life.
Here, you’ll find:
✅ High-protein meals with real cultural flavor
✅ Easy prep ideas for busy days (and gym nights)
✅ Family-approved recipes that even toddlers love
✅ Messy kitchen moments, cooking wins, and flops I learn from
Most days, you’ll find me wearing my dad’s vintage apron, testing recipes with one hand and chasing Sofia with the other. I write down everything in my cooking journal, because I believe every recipe has a story, and every flop is just the start of something better.
So whether you’re here for weeknight protein hacks, meal-prep wins, or just curious about my cold banana bread obsession (yes, it really tastes better the next day), I’m glad you’re here.
Let’s eat strong. Live well. And enjoy every bite.
Welcome to Evardi Recipes.
Strong meals. Simple steps. Real-life results.
